Jackson General Hospital is a not-for-profit 42-bed acute care medical facility founded in 1964 by Community Health Association and has proudly served Jackson and surrounding counties for over 46 years. What began as a community project designed to provide healthcare services to a growing populace evolved into a significant and necessary entity not only for saving people’s lives but also for meeting the basic health and wellness needs of this community at large. Jackson General Hospital is a full-service community resource consisting of doctors’ offices, a rural health clinic, primary and specialty care providers, inpatient and outpatient care, 24-hour emergency care, state-of-the-art laboratory and radiology services, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, community services, and educational opportunities.
