JOB TITLE: Surgical Services Nurse Manager
STATUS: Full-time exempt status (40 hours per week with ability to flex up as needed)
WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday Day Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides direction for professional nursing care for patients in the surgical services department. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a surgical services department. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Consults with Nurse Executive on nursing problems and interpretation of government regulations and hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Collaborates with staff, physicians and other department leaders to meet patient needs. Manages staff and directs operations, policies/procedures, quality improvement, budget, education, employee selection and orientation, coordination, documentation, professional behavior, and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be a licensed RN in the State of West Virginia. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS required (must be obtained within 60 days of hire). Bachelor’s degree in nursing
preferred. Operating Room experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving abilities preferred.

JOB TITLE: Radiology/CT Tech
STATUS: Per Diem
WORKING HOURS:  All Shifts - Weekends and Holidays as needed

JOB DESCRIPTION: Operate radiologic/CT equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians and perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an approved and  accredited school of radiology technology. State of WV license required. Current CPR and CT Registry.  



STATUS: Full-time
DEPARTMENT: Emergency Department
WORKING HOURS: 11A – 11P, as scheduled / All shifts as needed

JOB DESCRIPTION: Renders appropriate professional nursing care to patients coming into the Emergency Department. Works under the direction of the supervisor. Evaluates each patient and plans their care according to problems noted on evaluation.

REQUIREMENTS: Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Experience in an Emergency Department preferred.



STATUS: Full-time
WORKING HOURS: 7A-7P shift, as scheduled

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides care to groups of patients of all ages with a variety of diseases and/or diagnosis. Strives to improve patient care and patient outcomes. Understands the nursing process and standards of nursing care. Collaborates with all members of the healthcare team in an effective manner.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be a licensed RN in the State of West Virginia. Must be able to provide appropriate and supportive care to patients from pediatrics to geriatrics with various medical/surgical conditions. Current BLS required. ACLS and PALS preferred. Proven competency in safety such as preventing med errors, adverse drug reactions, patient falls, blood transfusions, pain management and “exceptional” customer service. One-year experience as a staff nurse preferred. Communicates in a clear manner both verbally and in writing. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.

JOB TITLE: Licensed Practical Nurse
STATUS: Per Diem
WORKING HOURS: All days/hours as needed

JOB DESCRIPTION: Cross train to provide coverage in out patient clinics including Morad Hughes Health Center, Surgical Associates, JGH Clinic at Wal-Mart and Orthopedics. Prepare EHR for outpatient visit, do prior authorizations, process referrals and reports, assist with procedures, sterile techniques, draw up medication for injections, wound care, schedule surgeries, order and stock supplies, good communication skills, follow up calls, work closely with ED, outpatient and hospital surgical departments and support busy physician practice as needed.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current WV license. Current CPR, BLS.


JOB TITLE: Respiratory Therapist/Technician
STATUS: Per Diem
DEPARTMENT: Respiratory
WORKING HOURS: All shifts possible including weekends and holidays. Additional call as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physician according to established standards and practices.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school program in Respiratory Therapy. State of WV license required.
